PABA, or para-aminobenzoic acid, is generally classified with the B-vitamin family, although it is not itself a vitamin. Its best known role is as a precursor for folic acid production. Folic acid is important in cell division and the healthy development and structure of red blood cells. The body receives a constant supply of PABA from friendly bacteria residing in the intestines.

100 capsules/500mg each
PABA plays a role in the breakdown and use of proteins, and in the formation of red blood cells. It also stimulates production of folic acid in the intestines, and helps maintain the health of the skin and hair. If a deficiency develops, it is signaled by fatigue, depression, nervousness, headache, and digestive disorders.

PARA AMINO BENZOIC ACID aids healthy bacteria in producing FOLIC ACID in the intestines, and helps maintain the health of the skin and hair. It aids in the formation of red blood cells; contains sun screening properties; aids in assimilation of PANTOTHENIC ACID, and returns hair to its natural color. PABA deficiencies may result in extreme fatigue, eczema, anemia, irritability, depression, nervousness, constipation, headaches, digestive disorders, and hair turning prematurely gray.
